STANDARD F iFOB FIA is a fluorescent immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of hemoglobin in fecal sample. This test is offered as a screening test for the early detection of bowel cancer in patients without symptoms.

Intented Use

STANDARD F iFOB FIA is a fecal immunochemical test (FIT) for quantitative detection of hemoglobin (Hb) in fecal specimen. Quantitative FOB test can be used for detecting excess bleeding from the lower gastro-intestinal channel (Infl ammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer screening programs). STANDARD F iFOB FIA provides a reliable and convenient tool for fecal occult blood quantifi cation in both laboratories and point-ofcare.
